The United Macedonians Organization of Canada invites you to their 55th Annual Ilinden Picnic to be held on Sunday, August 4th, 2013 at Ilinden Park on 21351 Highway 12, Scugog Township.

Ilinden is an important Macedonian Orthodox religious holiday and the Picnic honours those Macedonians which rose up to fight for their freedom and country in 1903.

The Picnic is the largest and longest running Ilinden celebration in North America which brings together thousands of families and friends each year.  Come dance to live Macedonian music by the Boys from Bouf and enjoy our culture.

This year marks the hundredth anniversary of the partition of Macedonia.  Let us come together at the Ilinden Picnic on August 4th to show that Macedonians remain united in their desire for a united homeland.

The gates open at 7am and the official program starts at 2pm.
